The Wagga Cycle Club have changed the date of stage 4 from 14 Oct 2012 to Sunday 21 Oct 2012. The 14 October clashed with another cycling event in Wagga, subsequently reducing the available volunteers to help run the race. The Wagga club apologise for any inconvience.

Team Classification

There hasn’t been enough interest in the Team’s Classification to run a competition this year. We’ll regroup and relaunch the category next year. Thanks to those who have shown interest.

Stage 3 Giro Della Bellbridge.

Start List has been update.

Team Classification.

We’ve had teams submitted where team members have been placed in separate grades and we do not have enough teams in some grades to make a contest of it. So I’ve amended the rules so a Team can be made up of 4 riders across the different grade’s, it would be similar to the TDR. All teams registered are now in the same contest together. Riders would obviously do the best they can in their grade in order to contribute points to their team. The winning team will be the one with the highest combined total of their 3 highest placed riders across the grades. Could all Team please revisit there team’s and send me a confirmation of their team.

I will also take new entries for teams up until the start of Bellbridge. Please refer to rules & regs for how it all works. You can email me on simon_haworth@bigpond.com with questions etc.

Stage 1 Bertoldo’s Spring Classic & Stage 2 Casella Wines Chrono Classica Riverina.

Cheers to the Griffith Cycle club for hosting another great weekend of racing. The weekend wouldn’t have been the great success with out the support of Bertoldo’s Bakery and Casella Wines. Stephen Bertoldo made sure nobody went home empty handed, if you haven’t partaken in some of his great French Nougat then your missing out! Thanks again to Casella Wines who supplied a $1000 in prize money for the Chrono Classica Riverina ITT.

The luck draw prize was taken out by Malcolm Brown. He went home with a great American Classic wheel set thanks again to Stephen Bertoldo’s Bakery.

Thanks to the Canberra Guys for making the long journey to Griffith, your participation was appreciated. It also has to be said, what a glorious weekend of weather for bike racing!

The results for the ITT, Road Race and GC are posted. The Teams classification is under review.
